Good morning,
Thank you so much for all your lovely comments. It's great that we can all keep in touch with everyone using Seesaw. If you haven't been able to login to Seesaw yet please feel free to contact me via admin@marton.cheshire.sch.uk and I'll do my best to support you.
I have been asked if you can add your own work to Seesaw - yes please! Just click on the big green tick and then add a drawing, photo or upload a document (pdf's work well)
Also, can you edit children's work? Yes, find the piece of work in your child's journal and click on the 3 dots in the bottom right hand corner, click edit and off you go.
I've also been asked about what you should be doing each day. It's up to you, and it will look different for each family. I do think children should be practising their timestables (TTRS) and reading every day because these are vital skills.
I have also set a writing task for each day and I think it would be beneficial to go to https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/ each day and watch the video and complete the worksheet.
There are so many resources out there and I know quite a few of our children have been following Joe Wicks daily P.E. session. Have you seen that you can listen to books for free? Both audible and epic have some great books to listen to.
Sending lots of love,
Heather Sparey
